w00t!!

I had some great news this morning, I've moved up 8 places in the IPC Archery World Rankings This now puts me in 12th position! I've got it all to do as I really want to be in the top 5 at least for next year, i'd better get shooting some more :)

Yesterday was my first proper outdoor 70 m shooting session of the year, it was blowing a gale but heck it was awesome fun. I've moved up to pulling 44lb now with the new Inno limbs and the extra poundage certainly makes a difference in the wind. I just need sightmarks for 90m and 50m then i'm all set for the dozens of FITA's i'll be shooting this year.

End of Indoor season for Mick

Well thank god thats over. Anyone who knows me will know how much i hate shooting indoors. Yesterday was my last Indoor Tournament of the season, It was the Staffordshire County and Open at Lilleshall and I'm happy to report that i won the Visitors Trophy (Actually i had the highest score out of all the recurves and even beat the score of the guy who came 3rd in the compound division :)

This means that out of the 4 indoor Tournaments i've shot this season (all County Championships) I 've had 3 wins and a 2nd place so i'm happy and optimistic for the coming year.

My new Inno Limbs arrived on Saturday so like a typical archer i decided it would be a good idea to shoot them untested at the tournament yesterday, I'm so glad i did, they are by far the best limbs i've ever shot, they feel so smooth yet so bloody powerful, they just feel.....right, if you know what i mean.
